Flamin’ computers.

Flamin’ computers. Okay, so I’m a bit of network n00b, but even so, this is just uncalled for. Hooked my laptop onto a LAN for a little bit of Starcraft today. First time I’ve used this machine for that. No big deal.

Then I got it home, and it refused to do anything with the internet. Not impressed. Loads of fiddling, changing settings, removing my network adapter from the system (not much use if I have to do that every time) and some more fiddling, and it finally works. That’s just a PITA.

Bl**dy PCs!

Procrastination.

A little diversion when I should be refining my last couple of papers for my BA (only days to go!): Slime Volleyball is a whole lot harder than it looks, and kind of addictive. I reccommend two-player mode, as you’ll never beat the computer (well, I haven’t scored more than two points against it yet). Thanks to Scott Paget for giving me the link - a dangerous man to know when you have work to do…
