In which we resurrect the switch-blogs to ponder a long-awaited upgrade to the operating system. And find it good.

I have just spent a couple of hours installing the latest version of Mac OS X - Leopard.

Having read a few accounts online of things going horribly wrong, I proceeded with some trepidation. But an Erase & Install, followed y a migration of all my data and apps, and all seems good.

So far I likey. I really don’t miss Windows, and from what I’ve seen of Vista, Leopard does many similar things, only better. Some of the new bits are just eye-candy, albethey nice eye-candy, but others I think will be genuinely useful. Including portions I didn’t expect to be.

I fear I am becoming such a fanboy.
