		<description>you'll not be surprised to hear i didn't make it too far through this post but i did notice your use of the phrase "half-inched" and thought, 'huh? i always thought it was "half-hinched"' - possibly referring to some kind of knot. i guess, on reflection, that half-inch makes more sense. similarly, it's not all that long since i saw the phrase "no rest for the wicked" written down for the first time, dispelling my long-held belief that it was "wicket" and referred to the (seemingly never-ending to the unenlightened) duration of a first-class cricket match. i wonder what else i've never seen written down and remain in blissful ignorance about...
