City of the Beasts, Kingdom of the Golden Dragon, and Forest of the Pygmies. She's a great storyteller, and really pulls you into the world she creates. Any of her books are a good read - my personal favourite so far is House of the Spirits. Best in Spanish, but doesn't loose too much in translation.
